The SNP leader Ian Blackford made an embarrassing Royal baby gaffe when he tried to congratulate the new parents.
He said in the House of Commons: "Can I also congratulate the Duke and Duchess of Wessex".
But MPs erupted at his slip up.
And an SNP colleague had to quietly inform Mr Blackford that Meghan and Harry are actually the Duke and Duchess of Sussex.
The Duke and Duchess of Wessex are, in fact, Sophie and Edward.
Mr Blackford also neglected to mention that the baby has a Scottish title and is the Earl of Dumbarton.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex welcomed their first child at the exclusive Portland Hospital in London on Bank Holiday Monday.
The boy, born at dawn, is the Queen's eighth great-grandchild.
So far the couple have not publicly disclosed the name of their first child.
Baby Sussex was born weighing 7lbs 3oz at 5.26am.
The baby made its first public appearance today with his mum and dad.
Meghan and Harry could not hide their delight as they posed for pictures with the tiny infant in the majestic St George’s Hall in Windsor Castle.
The duchess declared: “It’s magic, it’s pretty amazing. I have the two best guys in the world so I’m really happy.”
