Philip Green ‘pinched and kissed his harem of blondes in their 20s at his £2.3m US mansion’, Pilates teacher says – The Sun

SIR Philip Green pinched and kissed women at his ranch, where he brought an “entourage of 20-somethings”, his alleged victim told police.

The tycoon also touched the bottoms of two other females, Pilates instructor Katie Surridge, 37, claimed in police interviews obtained by The Sun on Sunday.

Green, 67, has been charged with assault after allegedly groping Ms Surridge in workouts at the Canyon Ranch spa in Tucson, Arizona. Ms Surridge told Pima County Detective David Stivers: “He had quite a reputation of being obnoxious and trying to pinch people’s faces and kiss their cheeks.”

Ms Surridge called him a “creeper” and claimed he was often with a young entourage at the resort, where he has a £2.3million mansion.

She said: “Last time it was, like, six girls from Switzerland. They’re all in their 20-somethings and they’re, you know, cute, blonde girls wanderin’ around with him, taking sessions and getting massages, and having, you know, their spa time.”

The 56-page transcript reveals Ms Surridge said she saw Green slap the bottom of a woman bending over gym equipment. She said: “He comes into the room and goes, ‘Oh you put her in this position just for me, didn’t you? You naughty girl.’ And he comes in and slaps her ass very fiercely.” She said she also told her bosses that he grabbed another woman’s bottom on a treadmill.

Green faces four counts of misdemeanour assault against Ms Surridge, defined as “knowingly touching another person with the intent to injure, insult, or provoke”.

He “strenuously denies” the accusations from 2016 and 2018 ahead of a court arraignment on June 19.

His representatives said: “Sir Philip is disappointed the charges have been filed in his absence and they are minor categories of misdemeanour.” They said he was not required to attend the forthcoming hearing, adding: “There is no allegation of any sexual assault or misconduct.”

Canyon Ranch said it “does not condone or tolerate inappropriate behaviour towards our employees”.
