Four teens arrested including two 16-year-old boys after man in his 40s falls to his death in Kent

FOUR teens have been arrested after a man plunged to his death in Kent.

Police were called to Chatham at around 11am on Thursday where they discovered the body of the man aged in his 40s.

He is believed to have died the previous evening after suffering injuries consistent with a fall from height.

Kent Police say his death is being treated as suspicious and a murder probe has been launched.

Four boys aged between 16 and 18 have now been arrested in connection with the man's death.

They are believed to be known to the victim and remain in custody.

Officers are now appealing for anyone with information to come forward following the horror.

Kent Police said: "Kent Police officers attended an area near Chalkpit Hill at around 11am on Thursday 14 April 2022 where the body of a man in his 40s was located.

"The man’s next of kin have been informed.

"A murder investigation is now being carried out by Major Crime detectives from the Kent and Essex Serious Crime Directorate.

"On Saturday 16 April an 18-year-old man, a 17-year-old boy and two 16-year-old boys were arrested in connection with the man’s death."
