Four police officers traveling in President Trump’s motorcade were involved in a crash on Tuesday in Louisiana.
The president’s armored limo was unharmed, but at least four police officers on motorcycles were involved in an accident on Interstate 10 in Lake Charles, the White House said.
None of the officers were seriously injured, the White House said. It’s unclear what caused the crash.
At least two officers could be seen laying on the ground, injured, according to reporters traveling in the press car.
Other motorcycle escorts stopped to deal with the accident, and some of them later returned to the motorcade.
Trump continued on to an event at the Cameron LNG Export Facility in Hackberry La., to promote energy infrastructure and economic growth.
