Will faces a huge dilemma as Toby returns and 6 other Holby City spoilers

When we last saw Toby Williams (Harry Gilby) he asked Will (Jack Nolan) to help him to die when his terminal condition became intolerable. In tonight’s Casualty Toby is back when his health suddenly deteriorates, and Will is forced to face up to the promise he made. What will he do?

Ruby (Maddy Hill) has another visit from Dani (Georgia Hughes), the girl she befriended. This time Dani seems to have a genuine reason for seeking out Ruby’s company – but can she be trusted? And after they reconciled last week, everyone notices how happy Charlie (Derek Thompson) and Duffy (Cathy Shipton) are. Can it last? Here are all the spoilers to look out for.

1. When Toby falls out of bed at home, he’s rushed back to the ED. Archie (Genesis Lynea) is ready to look after him, but Will insists on being involved. When it looks like all treatment options have been exhausted for Toby he talks to Will again about Will ending his suffering. Torn between Toby and his mum Jackie (Kirsty Bushell)’s different feelings, and struggling with his own conscience, Will is faced with an agonising choice.

2. Marty (Shaheen Jafargholi) is back – but Jade (Gabriella Leon)’s annoyed that he hardly contacted her while he was away. Is he hiding something?

3. Dani tells Ruby that it’s her mother’s birthday so she’s feeling particularly low. Despite Ruby’s reservations, she feels sorry for the girl and once more takes her under her wing. But it seems that Dani hasn’t been completely honest…

4. Archie and Will disagree over how best to handle Toby’s case when she overhears a discussion between Will and Toby.

5. When a man has a fall at home and his daughter is injured too, Jade finds their stories keep changing. Eventually she uncovers the shocking truth, and enlists Ruby’s help to protect a vulnerable person.

6. Connie (Amanda Mealing) has reached a decision about the consultant’s post – but has she chosen Will or Archie?

7. A loved-up Charlie and Duffy take a walk down memory lane, but when they don’t turn up at the pub everyone wonders what’s happened to them.
