When does Lisa Dingle die in Emmerdale as Jane Cox leaves the ITV soap?

Lisa Dingle (Jane Cox) is leaving Emmerdale in a storyline sure to bring tears to her fans’ eyes.

The character has been a part of the popular soap for over two decades and first appeared on TV screens in 1996.

Fans have been preparing for this moment ever since Charity (Emma Atkins) went to see Lisa in Scotland and found out that she has a terminal heart condition.

The rest of the family have thus far been kept in the dark, apart from her husband Zak (Steve Halliwell). That is, until now.

Tonight, in an emotional scene, Lisa will sit the family down and explain that she doesn’t have much time left. The tragic news will come as a shock to them all, but above all to her daughter Belle (Eden Taylor-Draper) who had no idea that her mother is going to die.
