TOWIE star Kirk Norcross is set to make a dramatic return to the show, Sun Online can reveal.
We can reveal the 31-year-old has done a massive u-turn and is willing to take part in a 10-year reunion which ITV bosses are busy planning for.
It would pave the way for an explosive showdown with Mark Wright – who Kirk famously lost to in the ring in a celebrity boxing bout.
And it would see Kirk, who says he has slept with more than 1,000 women, come face to face again with ex Amy Childs.
Yesterday a show source said they were confident of securing Kirk who told Sun Online last month how he was now happier cleaning drains than being a celebrity.
"Kirk was top of the list for producers who are putting the reunion show together,” a source said last night.
"They are determined to get him and Mark back on it. There’s a bit of history there so sparks could fly and it would make great telly.
"Originally, producers were worried that Kirk was going to snub them. But they are much more confident now and reckon he can definitely be persuaded."
Since quitting TOWIE, Kirk went on to appear on Celebrity Big Brother. But he recently stepped off the red-carpet and set up his own firm in Essex where he cleans drains.
In a chat with Sun Online last month he said the toxic side of fame drove him to try and kill himself.
A source said: "A full-time return to TV for Kirk isn’t going to happen. But TOWIE was a massive part of his life so if there is a reunion going on he will want to be in it."
Last month he told The Sun Online how he wouldn't return to the show, saying: "Reality TV turned me into a monster but the bosses didn’t want to look after the monster they created.
He added: "I’m earning a living through hard work. I love getting my pay packet after finishing a job.
"For me there’s no better feeling in the world. Sometimes I see re-runs of TOWIE on the telly with me on it and I have to do a double-take.
"I think is that ‘really me?’ as my life is very different now. But I have no plans on going back to the way things were."
