The Chase viewers rage about the same thing – but have you noticed it?

THE Chase fans were left fuming that professional quizzer Darragh 'The Menace' Ennis was absent yet again on Thursday's instalment.

ITV viewers have noticed that the Irish Chaser, 41, has not been on the game show for a while.

Host Bradley Walsh, 61, was joined by Katherine, Ore, Sinclair and Cammy as they went head-to-head with Jenny 'The Vixen' Ryan in a bid to take home the cash prize.

But many viewers were left asking where Darragh had gone and have begged for him to return after being noticeably absent since the new series started earlier this week.

One wrote: "I miss The Menace! Where is he? #TheChase."

Another posted: "Has Darragh completely disappeared? I haven't seen him on #TheChase in ages."

Someone else tweeted: "WE WANT DARRAGH #thechase."

However, the quizzer took to Twitter to clear things up after spotting fans complaining.

Sharing The Chase's official announcement about new episodes, he Tweeted: "Ok, you've all been pestering me so now you know. New Episodes of #TheChase on @ITV at 5pm."

One fan replied: "Where was you today? Was awaiting your return to the chase." (sic)

Darragh replied to her question, writing: "I was at work," before the eager viewer asked the next day: "Are you on TV tonight?"

"Tune in to find out," the Chaser teased.

However, Darragh was still nowhere to be seen on Thursday, so fans will have to tune in next week to see if their favourite Chaser is back.

The Chase airs weekdays at 5pm on ITV.
