Belle Dingle (Eden Taylor-Draper) is left in shock in Emmerdale as Jamie Tate (Alexander Lincoln) reveals that he is responsible for knocking down Moira Dingle (Natalie J Robb).
Jamie was less than pleased when Andrea (Anna Nightingale) began blackmailing him in regards to the hit-and-run, and therefore he turned the tables, and began to play her at her own game.
However, the pressure of manipulation soon gets to him, and he turns up at the vets in a terrible state — which leaves Belle worried.
A desperate Jamie then begs her to give him a chance to explain his version of events, and ultimately she agrees.
He reveals that Andrea’s been blackmailing him, and as he proceeds to open up, he ultimates comes clean — confirming that he was driving the car that hit Moira.
Belle is left reeling from such a revelation, and threatens to go to the police, but she’s surprised when it appears as if Jamie is relieved at the idea.
The following day, Lydia (Karen Blick) begins to suspect that Jamie might be back in Belle’s life, and Belle gets defensive as a result.
As time moves on, the young woman becomes all the more convinced that she should report Jamie to the police.
The question is: will she ultimately do so?
Or will she perhaps turn the tables and use this information to get the upper hand where Andrea is concerned?
