Jamie Foxx and Tina Fey star in the latest Disney/Pixar animation – Soul. While little is known about the story, a teaser trailer reveals some of what fans can hope to expect when they see the movie. How can fans watch the trailer for the new movie Soul – is there a trailer available?
The trailer for Soul is available to watch right here at Express.co.uk .
The film stars Jamie Foxx voicing Joe Gardner, as well as Tina Fey, who voices the character of 22.
Daveed Diggs, Phylicia Rashad and Questlove are also among the voice cast, which certainly plays into the film’s premise revolving around music.
In the trailer, Joe asks an important question of the viewer: “What would you want to be known for on earth?
“We only have a short time on this planet – you want to become the person you were born to be.
“Don’t waste your time on all the junk of life – spend your previous hours doing what will bring out the real you.
“The brilliant, passionate you. You are ready to contribute something meaningful to this world.
“So what do you want to be remembered for?”
Amid this rousing speech, Joe is seen running around New York and playing piano in a jazz band.
While his own future does not seem bright, his words spark others to jump from their desks and seize the day – until disaster seemingly strikes.
Joe is then heard booking a haircut on the phone, after revealing he “got the gig,” which certainly implies he is an aspiring jazz musician rather than a working one.
At this, he avoids a moped, jumps out of the way of a frightening dog, but quickly finds he is falling deep into a manhole.

Suddenly, Joe is no longer Joe, but a green, amoeba-like blob which is in a strange, dark void.
He walks up some steps while still questioning his legacy, at which point he meets a character (which we know to be 22) who is voiced by Tina Fey.
When asked what she wants to be remembered for, 22 replies: “Probably for doing this funny cowboy dance.”
As she responds, she breaks out in an odd jig before leaving the ‘soul’ of Joe more confused than ever before.
What is Soul about?
According to Disney, the Soul synopsis reads: “Ever wonder where your passion, your dreams and your interests come from? What is it that makes you… YOU?
“In 2020, Pixar Animation Studios takes you on a journey from the streets of New York City to the never-before-seen cosmic realms and “The You Seminar,” the fantastical place where we all discover our unique personalities.”
The ‘souls,’ it has been reported, must take part in a seminar before they are transported into the bodies of newborns to then grow and live their lives – meaning Joe may never make his gig after all.
Soul is in cinemas on June 19, 2020
