Rochelle Humes breaks down in tears over This Morning guests sweet gesture to friend with cancer

This Morning star Rochelle Humes was brought to tears on Wednesday morning during an interview with nine year old Harry, who is suffering from cancer, and his lovely school friends.

Wednesday morning's show was presented by Rochelle and Craig Doyle, who have been stepping in as regular presenters since Holly Willoughby left the show last month.

Rochelle and Craig were joined on the sofa by Harry Mills, his dad and his friends, following his cancer diagnosis earlier this year.

After Harry started suffering from pain in his right leg in April, his parents thought it was a football injury, but it turned out to be much more serious.

Harry is suffering from a rare form of Sarcoma and, as he continues to undergo chemotherapy, his school friends decided to shave their heads and have successfully raised over £30,000 for charity.

Sitting across from Rochelle and Craig Doyle, one of Harry's friends said: "It's a lot of stuff Harry is going to go through and we wanted to be there for him and then he will never be alone."

Rochelle was overcome with emotion as she said: "Oh my goodness, you're giving me happy tears, auntie Roche has got the tears." Rochelle then wiped her tears away with her hand.

Former singer Rochelle, 34, has been working on This Morning as a stand-in host since 2018 and she's proven to be a hit with TV viewers, making her a firm favourite to become a full-time presenter on the show.

Rochelle is one of the many names rumoured to be in the running to replace Holly, along with Alison Hammond, Rylan Clark, Josie Gibson and Davina McCall.

Rochelle has recently been spotted supporting her husband Marvin Humes while he is on tour with JLS. Rochelle took to Instagram to share the "happiness" the JLS tour had brought for the family, along with a series of adorable snaps as their children sang and danced along from the sidelines in support of their dad.

The former Saturdays singer wrote the caption: "This tour has brought so much more happiness to our little gang than we could of ever imagined for so many reasons. Memories to last a lifetime."

Rochelle and Marvin share three children together, Alaia-Mai, 10, Valentina, six, and two-year-old son Blake Hampton.
