RHOBH's Erika Jayne is "taking karate lessons" for self-defense after trolls hit her with death threats amid her ongoing legal scandal, The Sun can exclusively reveal.
The 50-year-old star is keeping fit as she continues to defend herself against claims her and estranged husband Tom Girardi embezzled millions of dollars from his legal clients.
A source told The Sun Erika now has her own trainer at Seido Karate Hollywood Dojo, and she has signed up to classes because she's "worried about her safety."
The insider said: "Erika has very thick skin and tries not to let the trolls get to her, but she has had some serious death threats throughout this scandal and has been left fearing for her life.
"One even previously commented she's a 'marked woman' and saying she should be worried about going out in public.
"Erika can't afford 24/7 security now her financial situation as changed and she has mounting legal bills, but she wanted to take the situation into her own hands.
"She has only taken a few classes but is really enjoying karate, it makes her feel more in control of her situation when everything around her has been falling apart."
The source added: "The housewives who have her back, albeit not many, think she's a real badass learning these skills, she's definitely not one to be messed with!"
Erika previously called out trolls on social media, demanding they "stop threatening her life."
She shared a post from the All About The Truth Instagram account which read: "RHOBH's Erika Jayne spent $25M from estranged husband's law firm on her glam squad, PR firms, a dance agency and 14M in Amex purchases."
A follower replied: "@theprettymess needs to be executed."
Erika responded to the comment: "Trying to kill me now? Stop threatening my life."
In another post, a troll wrote: "Feeling scared yet? The further the season gets the more you should be worried about being in public….. talk about a marked woman."

The karate classes may even feature in the Season 12 as an insider also told The Sun Erika has officially signed on for another series of the Bravo show, despite her lawyers telling her to quit.
"Erika is on board for the new season and production will begin in coming days, it was a no brainer, she is adamant she will not quit the show," an insider told The Sun.
"She's the most bankable star at the moment and producers don't want to miss a minute of this scandal which continues to unfold day by day, they are shooting earlier than usual.
NEW SEASON AHEAD
"Erika still has supporters, despite her legal issues, and even those who hate her are tuning in to see this all play out on screen."
According to a report in the New York Times, Erika banked around $600,000 for the last season of the Bravo show, and could be set to make even more for series 12.
This is despite her earlier claim she has "zero dollars" to her name following her divorce and legal troubles, which has reportedly cost her more than $500,000 so far.
Erika confessed her financial struggles on a previous episode of the show after she was slapped with a $25million lawsuit in her ex-husband Tom Girardi's bankruptcy case with his legal firm
While talking to Kyle Richards, 52, she said: "I did read this morning that the bankruptcy trustees want to take the house and possibly evict Tom, so we’ll see.
"I'm out here rebuilding my life, but girl, I have zero dollars. And by the time those trustees are done with him, there will be nothing."
Lawyers are in early discussions to settle with Erika, who has been accused in court documents of using her company, EJ Global, to spend millions of dollars from Tom's legal firm.
She allegedly used the money to pay for her American Express bill, glam team and other expenses.
The lawsuit alleged: "She attempts to create a distinction between handing her money directly versus paying all of her bills directly.
"The distinction, like her prior motion for reconsideration is meritless. Any payments made for her benefit are her responsibility."
The trustee said the RHOBH star's claims she wasn't aware of Tom finances, arguing "it would be a miscarriage of justice if [she] was allowed to simply walk completely free of owing over $25,000,000 to the Estate."
"Erika signed all of her tax returns, numerous credit card slips, and was well aware of the money she spent on the Debtor’s credit cards and the Debtor’s payment of her personal expenses,” the trustee alleged.
"Her feigned wilful blindness and ostrich approach to these expenditures will do absolutely nothing to limit her liability."
The trustee also stated that "the glam cannot be supported by a sham."
The RHOBH star filed for divorce from ex Tom back in November after about 21 years of marriage.
After their split was confirmed, the former couple was hit with a number of lawsuits.
Despite claiming she was not aware of Tom's alleged wrongdoings, Erika was accused of “hiding her bank statements," as a trustee's special litigation counsel confirmed that Tom’s law firm transferred millions to the Bravo star's many businesses.
In light of the many lawsuits, it was recently reported that the 82-year-old's federal disbarment was handed down by a judge.
The former couple's legal drama has been heavily covered on the most recent season of RHOBH.
