Phillip Schofield shared a sweet message to Holly Willoughby in light of herbeing off work for a second day running.
Phillip and Holly have been hosting This Morning together for over a decade and, while Holly’s stand-in Josie Gibson is delighting viewers, it’s evident Phillip misses his friend.
Addressing Holly’s absence, Phillip told viewers on Wednesday 17 November: “It was last minute Holly got her tummy bug.
"I was texting Holly all day yesterday afternoon and apparently it's a tummy bug that is going round everywhere, everyone's got it.
"And it's sort of a two day thing, so she's lost her appetite, so it's pointless her coming in because we've got such lovely food in today!"
Josie then joked, “Well, that's the reason I'm here!"
Phillip then added to the camera: "Morning, Holls. I hope you're alright, and I'll text you later — and we'll probably see you tomorrow."
Holly has taken to Instagram to thank Josie for stepping in for her to host the show with Phil.
Sharing a snap on her Instagram story of a This Morning post of Josie, Holly added a crown on top of her head and wrote: “Thank you @josiegibson85 for saving the day yesterday… you are a dream!
“… I'll be back as soon as I'm in no threat of vomiting on @schofe," followed by a sick emoji.

Josie has been inundated with compliments from This Morning viewers after hosting the show for the first time, with many calling for her to become a permanent host of the programme.
“Well done Josie Gibson you were brilliant today need to front the show more often #ThisMorning,” one fan tweeted.
Another wrote: “@JosieGibsonClub fabulous to see Josie one half of the presenting duo on #ThisMorning. She’s doing a cracking job Feel better soon @hollywills.”
“#ThisMorning Josie is a bit of a revelation. Poised. Understated. Articulate. Professional. Call me old fashioned but I was expecting enforced lunacy, superfluous repetition and camera hogging – but no!”, a third penned.
Following people’s kind words, Josie admitted thatshe was overcome with emotions and cried following her hosting debut.
Josie admitted to Phillip on Wednesday morning: “Do you know what? Social media can be quite a dark place at times. But yesterday I was showered with love.
"I had a good cry, I did have a cry for about half an hour after the show."
“It was just so emotional,” Josie continued. “It was a really big thing to be sat here with you yesterday and to have all those lovely messages. It was just so lovely.”
