The Masked Singer fans have said they will eat their hats if Doughnuts doesn't turn out to be Michael Owen.
The question of who is in the colourful suit of sweet treats has captured the imagination of ITV viewers, who have been desperately trying to work it out.
There was some talk about the sugary character being TV chef James Martin.
But with clues like being "extra speedy" and football sweets being included in a pick 'n' mix selection, fans are now convinced it is former England star Michael.
"This is the only one on Masked Singer I've ever been certain on in my life," one person posted on Twitter.
Another added: "I will be floored if it's not Michael Owen. Especially with the 'extra speedy' clue'"
"If Doughnuts isn't Michael Owen, I'll eat my imaginary hat," said a third person.
"Anyone watching the Masked Singer who doesn't think Doughnut is Michael Owen needs to have a word with themselves," said a fourth social media user.
"Either Doughnuts is Michael Owen or doing a spot on impression of him," a fifth person wrote.
One fan said they were prepared to put quite a lot on Michael being inside the big heap of doughnuts.
"If I owned one I'd bet my house on Doughnuts being Michael Owen," the fan tweeted.
Another cheeky ITV viewer joked: "We'll find out next week that Michael Owen is on the Masked Singer when a Doughnut pulls its hamstring."
Before viewers decided that Michael was in the costume, fellow footy aces Gary Lineker and Robbie Fowler were in the frame.
However, Doughnuts – who gave a rousing rendition of Eye Of The Tiger by Survivor – has not been unmasked yet so fans will haver to wait a bit longer to see if they have got it right.
The Masked Singer UK continues Saturday night on ITV
