Love Island's Shannon Singh breaks silence after boot and says she would love to go back to the villa

LOVE Island fans were reeling when show favourite Shannon Singh was booted off — but the model insisted she would happily return to the villa.

She was shown the door tonight after just three days when she was left as a singleton by late arrival Chloe Burrows choosing to couple up with Aaron Francis.

Aaron and Chloe appeared to be gloating as Shannon was seen marching out with her suitcase.

But former glamour model Shannon, 22, says she could see herself asked by ITV2 producers to go back into the villa — which would be a shrewd move as she was a favourite among viewers.

Asked tonight if she would return, she said: “Yeah, why not? I want to get back on my streaming and I then go on holiday with the girls.

“And then I’ll suss out what to do. It was very short-lived. Surreal. But I’m obviously very grateful I got the opportunity. I’m not coming away fuming from it, I’m coming away grateful.”

Shannon confessed to feeling upset at being dumped from the show after the arrival of financial services marketing executive Chloe, 25, who has already admitted to a fling with a married man.

On Tuesday’s show Chloe was told she could pick any man she wanted to couple up with.

But Shannon admits she did not think she would be the one to go.

She said: “I knew they were going to throw something in there, they always do. I knew it was going to be, like, she was going to take one of the guys.

“I think a lot of the girls were worried and I wasn’t. I was honestly just like, ‘Whatever’.

“I was going in to hopefully meet someone but I think also to have the summer of a lifetime.”

Shannon also said she was disappointed things did not work out between her and Aaron, 24.

She said: “The minute he walked through that door, his eyes did not get off me. I could feel it. We had a few chats and it was a bit like trying to get blood out of a stone with him.

“He’s a really, really nice guy but he’s just a bit too laid back for me. He agreed with me later, which was a good thing.

“I am a bit gutted. But, out of all the girls, I think it is fair it’s me because I didn’t have any emotional attachments to the guys but all the girls had little things going on.

“I said I didn’t want anyone cocky and arrogant. I think all the guys are good-looking. I just think they were all too pretty for me.”
