Love Islands Andrew Le Page teases romantic connection to Casa Amor bombshell

Love Island star Andrew Le Page teased a romantic connection to an ex-Casa Amor beauty.

The estate agent, 27, was confirmed as one of the contestants on the ITV2 dating show and is set to hit screens on June 6 when the highly anticipated eighth series kicks off.

The Guernsey-based hunk revealed he feels now is the "best time" to give the hit dating show a go because he's "actually single for once".

In a chat with Daily Star and other press, Andrew admitted he already has past affiliations with the show as he has links to an ex-contestant who caused quite the stir last series.

Referring to blonde bombshell Lillie Haynes, Andrew admitted to Daily Star and other publications: "I was speaking to one [former islander], but not about the show or anything like that.

"No one slid into my DMs. We matched on a dating thing and then we're just talking a little bit on Instagram but not long and then it just kind of fizzled out, I never met her," he explained.

Lillie was at the centre of last year's drama when she set eyes on Liam Reardon during their Casa Amor stint.

Shedding light on why his last relationship didn't work out, Andrew revealed that distance played a factor and they were at "different parts" of their lives.

"The most recent one ended because I moved to Dubai and she had commitments in Guernsey and London, so that was why it ended. You know, we were just at different parts of our life," he confessed.

The 27-year-old admitted he's been in a relationship for most of his 20s but thinks it can take a while to find "the one".

"You're young, you're not going to find the perfect girl straightaway or the one that's going to be 'the one' straightaway," he said.

Andrew continued: "I think you've got to date a few people before you really settle down and finally find the one that's right for you."

Love Island launches on Monday, June 6 on ITV2 at 9pm
