Love Island fans spot Gemma Owens reaction as Tasha admits she kissed Billy

There was more drama afoot in the Love Island villa on Wednesday night as new couples began to form in both Casa Amor and the main villa ahead of a shock recoupling that would see if the islanders wanted to “stick or twist” with their current partners.

Ahead of the decisions, many of the islanders were seen having heart to hearts with each other as they sought advice and support about what to do, particularly when they had already seen sparks fly with someone other than their original partner.

One of the islanders caught in such a dilemma was Tasha Ghouri, who up until now has been head over heels for Andrew Le Page, the boy she has been coupled up with since day one.

However in scenes aired on Wednesday, viewers at home saw Tasha admit to her fellow islanders Indiyah Polack and Gemma Owen that she had kissed newcomer Billy Brown.

When pressed as to just how much of a kiss it was, Tasha admitted it had been a full on snog rather than a chaste peck – an admission which appeared to earn a disapproving eye roll from Gemma, who herself appears to be remaining loyal to her main villa partner Luca Bish.

Although Gemma and Billy don’t appear to know each other too well in real life, they were aware of each other prior to entering the villa, with the two following each other on social media.

Gemma has also said of Billy: "I've never met him but, one of my best boy mates on the outside is his best mate. He's a bit of a player, like a lad's lad."

While fans at home weren’t entirely sure why Gemma had responded in such a way to Tasha’s admission, many shared her sentiment and were quick to take to Twitter to voice their thoughts on how quickly the dancer’s loyalties had strayed.

"Gemma did not look happy at Tasha saying she kissed Billy or was that just me,” wrote one fan.

“Omg who saw Gemma rolling her eyes when Tasha said she kissed Billy. I love her,” added another.

“Gemma's face when Tasha said she snogged Billy wait until she finds out Luca has been egging on the boys…” quipped a third.

Meanwhile one fan questioned why Tasha was trying so hard to seek approval from her friends instead of following her heart as they wrote: “Why is Tasha looking for validation for kissing billy?”

Many other fans were also quick to share their thoughts on the exchange, particularly as Tasha appeared to feel guilty for kissing Billy, while Andrew showed little remorse for pursuing a romance with Coco back in the main villa.

One disgruntled fan commented: “So the boys mentality is that they need to kiss all the girls before deciding who to stick with?? Meanwhilst the girls are pretty much staying loyal and Tasha even feels bad about kissing billy?? Men ain’t s**t.”

There were also several fans who called out the hypocrisy as some islanders strayed without consequences, while others were blasted for the same behaviour.

Summing up the situation, one viewer wrote: “To keep it equal – all the girls happy for Tasha for kissing Billy and they knew how much Andrew liked her , but they all be going crazy when it’s their boys doing the dirty on them! Just all round s****y.”
