Katie Price left furious after getting hit with £23,000 energy bill fuming ‘they’ve p***ed me off’ | The Sun

KATIE Price has been left furious after getting hit with a £23,000 energy bill.

The 45-year-old star shared the news on a podcast named Go Love Yourself.

She said an energy company had come out and checked her metres and slapped her with an £18k bill.

Katie added: “Then I’ve got another one for £5k in one week.”

The podcast hosts were left in disbelief, causing Katie to continue: “When we called them they said ‘oh no she hasn’t got that.’

“So I said well why am I getting letters to say I have? We’ve now set up direct debits for them so they can’t make another mistake and keep sending me letters.

Katie bought her £2.2m West Sussex property in 2014 from Tory peer Francis Maude.

She recently said on her Katie Price Show podcast, "I’m still thinking of renting it, it’s just too big for me. I’m always up in Essex at the minute.

"[I want to] get something smaller. I don’t know. I just think this house gives me bad luck.

"It’s such a good family home but it is too big for me. It’s more of an excuse for the kids to make a mess."

The Sun also told how mum-of-five was convinced the property was "cursed".

A source told us: "Katie always says it's cursed and haunted by bad luck.

"She hates it and never wants to live there again."
