Jack Fincham quits Ex On The Beach to focus on boxing after MTV bosses delay filming

JACK Fincham has quit Ex On The Beach to focus on his boxing career.

The former Love Island winner had agreed to take part in the upcoming series but had the rug pulled from underneath his plans when bosses announced they were moving the filming dates.

Jack, 29, informed MTV he could no longer take part in the show because it clashed with an upcoming boxing match.

A source said: “Jack was ready and raring to go for Ex On The Beach.

“However Covid-19 restrictions have made filming difficult and bosses had to change the dates earlier this month.

“It means the production will take place in May and June in Colombia now, rather than next month as they had planned.

“Jack was faced with a decision to either go on the show or take part in a really important boxing match and he’s chosen his career.

“He has been working tirelessly back in the ring and wants to make a success of his career.

“Jack knows this is far more important than going on a TV show and there will be other chances.”

Jack was one of the show’s biggest signings this year.

His ex-girlfriend Chloe Brockett had also signed up and was preparing for an explosive showdown with the former pen salesman.

A question mark is now above her name over her future on the show.

The Sun exclusively revealed how the hit MTV series was going to be filming in South America earlier this year.

Jack’s fellow ITV2 co-star Georgia Steel has also agreed to take part, alongside her ex-fiancé Callum Izzard.

Footballer Jermaine Pennant is another celeb on the line-up and is expected to come face-to-face with his ex-missus Alice Goodwin.

A spokeswoman for MTV said: “We do not comment on rumour or speculation.”
