How long has Alan Halsall been dating Tisha Merry and when did his marriage end?

The pair first sparked romance rumours back in January after they played an early morning game of badminton together, with one fan commenting: ‘U make a lovely couple’, while another added: ‘Please say you two are a couple.’

A month later they fuelled further speculation after they were snapped together during a day out watching rugby.

Alan posted the snap of himself with Tisha, as they watched the Salford Red Devils in action.

When was Tisha Merry in Coronation Street and who did she play?

The actress appeared in Corrie from 2013-2017 as Steph Britton – returning again briefly in 2018.

Steph was a waitress at Nick’s Bistro who went on to play a more significant role in the soap after becoming the flatmate of Michelle Keegan’s character Tina McIntyre.

She was involved in some major storylines during her time on the cobbles, including Tina’s death and the funeral, as well as her relationship with Andy Carver (Oliver Farnworth).

The pair were originally planning to leave together for Portugal after Andy was blackmailed by evil Pat Phelan (Connor McIntyre) but Steph ended up leaving alone after Phelan took Andy hostage and sent her a text – posing as him – saying it was over between them.

The character was last seen in 2018 after she returned for her brother Luke’s funeral after he was murdered by Phelan – but left again before finding out he was responsible.

When did Alan Halsall divorce Lucy-Jo Hudson?

The couple married in 2009 and welcomed daughter Sienna-Rae in 2013.

They announced they had separated in 2016, but reconciled a month later before they once again split in 2018.
