Goggleboxs Stephen Lustig-Webb seen on crutches after being forced to quit Dancing on Ice

Stephen Lustig-Webb has been spotted out for the first time since it was announced he'd been forced to quit Dancing On Ice after suffering a horror injury during a training session.

The ex-Gogglebox star, 52, who quit the Channel 4 show before announcing he was joining the upcoming series of Dancing on Ice, was photographed leaving The Hop Pub in Hurstpierpoint, Sussex, alongside his husband Daniel Lustig.

Stephen cut a casual figure in grey shorts, a T-shirt and a black gilet paired with trainers and a baseball cap. He could be seen using crutches with his left ankle in a cast.

Daniel, who also starred on Gogglebox, followed closely behind his husband and looked relaxed in a grey sweatshirt and baggy jeans. He also sported a crossbody bag and a pair of sunglasses.

It marks the first time Stephen has been since it was announced he had been forced to quit Dancing on Ice after a horror fall during a training session on 18 October saw him break his ankle. It's reported that he was rushed to Queen Alexandra hospital in Portsmouth following the incident.

It's said Stephen underwent an operation to put metal plates into his ankle shortly after and will now be on crutches for at least three months while it heals.

Stephen is yet to publicly speak out about his injury and his withdrawal from the ITV show, but Dancing on Ice shared the news in an official statement on 21 October.

Posted on X, formerly known as Twitter, the statement read: "Stephen Lustig-Webb has to withdraw from this year’s show due an injury he sustained to his ankle during training. He is still very much a part of the our DOI family and we will be helping to support Stephen. We wish him well with his recovery."

It has not yet been revealed if Stephen will be replaced on Dancing On Ice. The new series of the hit ITV show will begin in January 2024, with this year's celebrities already being put through their paces in training.

The rest of the show's star-studded line-up is formed of boxer Ricky Hatton MBE, actor Claire Sweeney, former S Club 7 singer Hannah Spearritt, Love Island winner Amber Davies, Olympian Greg Rutherford MBE, Made In Chelsea star Miles Nazaire, comedian Lou Sanders, former EastEnders star Ricky Norwood, radio presenter Adele Roberts, Emmerdale star Roxy Shahidi and actor Ryan Thomas.
