EastEnders spoilers: Scarlett discovers her mum Janine LEFT Linda Carter to DIE; plus Coronation Street & Emmerdale news | The Sun

CONIVING Janine is panicked when Scarlett makes clear she's on to her.

This week on EastEnders will see Janine (Charlie Brooks) get caught in her web of lies.

Janine has been making life difficult for Linda (Kellie Bright) for a while now and while Sharon has been aware, she's struggled to find a chance to tell Nancy (Maddy Hill) and Mick (Danny Dyer).

After crashing a car that was carrying a drunk Linda, Janine dragged her to the driver's seat to make it look like she was at fault.

But that's all set to change this week as her daughter, Scarlett, notices the cut on her head and point's it out to Sonia, played by Natalie Cassidy.

Realising what her mum did to Linda, Scarlett has a tough decision to make. But will she out her mum?

    Hollyoaks's Jorgie Porter confirmed she's expecting

    The 34-year-old actress took to Instagram to announce the good news.

    After miscarrying quadruplets last November, Porter has spoken publicly about the experience.

    Talking about the miscarriage and the support of her fiancé, Porter said: "Of course, I've shed tears [and] I've tried to come to terms with it by thinking 'They've never lived, I don't know them', but it took Ollie to say to me 'You held them in you for three months' to appreciate the power of those emotions.

    "Men suffer during miscarriage too, and Ollie was so, so sad. By voicing his feelings, he got us through, because that encouraged me to speak about mine too."

    SPOILER – EastEnders: Will Janine be able to find her way out of this one?

    Last week Janine's true colours were truly shown.

    Janine crashed the car last week but upon realising the mess, she got out, hid her clothes and moved Linda to the driver's seat.

    Linda, who was drunk at the time, looked like she had been drink-driving.

    But this week, Janine's daughter, Scarlett, is onto her.

    Will Scarlett tell the police, or will she let Janine get away with it?

    EastEnders confirm Aaron's exit

    Harvey's son was arrested on terrorism charges in January.

    It the latest episode of EastEnders it was confirmed that Aaron was convicted of the crimes, sentenced and is being sent to a prison in Newcastle.

    Aaron was arrested after his father learned of his plan to plant a bomb in the square and told the police.

    Charlie Wernham, who plays Aaron, will be back on our screens soon though, as he'll be reprising his character, Mitchell, in Jack Whitehall's Bad Education on-off special later this year.

    Imran's funeral takes place tonight and Toyah gives the eulogy.

    And Gail confides in Shona about her worries for Audrey.

    EastEnders flaunt their weekend wins from Saturday's Soap Awards

    The soap took home four trophies at the awards ceremony.

    Tameka Empson took home the award for Best Comedy Performance as Kim Fox and Letitia Dean, who plays Sharon Watts, got the award for Outstanding Achievement Award.

    Meanwhile, Ross Boatman got the award for Best Newcomer as Harvey Monroe.

    And finally for EastEnders, Lacey Turner and Gillian Wright won the award for Best On-screen Partnership.

    Coronation Street star announces a bun in the oven

    Saturday's Soap Awards was a joyous affair and great news all around.

    Julia Goulding had great news to share as well as she showed off her baby bump at the awards ceremony.

    The actress, who plays Shona Platt, shares a son, Franklin Wolf, with her husband Ben Silver.

    Talking to OK! at the award show on Saturday, Goulding spoke of how the show has been helping her keep the pregnancy a secret: "It's been quite hard to keep it secret and they've dug out my maternity clothes from three years ago, so it's all systems go again.

    "It's generally up to the director or costume department to sort of try and conceal it a bit. It's been alright so far, we've managed to keep it to ourselves. I think we've done something right, thank goodness!"

    Emmerdale's Meena to make a return?

    Meena was given a lengthy prison sentence earlier in the year.

    The character was sentenced to a long time in prison after being found guilty for killing a series of people.

    Paige Sandhu, who plays Meena Jutla on the soap, won the award for Best Leading Performer at this year's Soap Awards and continued to tease the possibility of a return.

    She said: "You know what, never say never. Anything goes in Emmerdale, especially for the 50th.

    "It's going to be the biggest and best year yet. In the past, historically, Emmerdale has broken other prisoners out of jail so it could happen… but we'll see."

    Moss played Rhys Ashworth on Hollyoaks for 9 years from 2005 to 2014.

    Danny Dyer 'in negotiations' about leaving EastEnders

    EASTENDERS' Danny Dyer will leave the soap in an explosive Christmas storyline.

    Talking exclusively to The Sun, Danny has revealed there will be no way back for Queen Vic landlord Mick – putting an end to the character for good.

    The soap characters exit will be the focus of the big episodes around the Christmas period and New Year.

    Speaking at the British Soap Awards on Saturday, he said: “It’s huge and it’s going to upset a few people.

    “I will miss everyone but I want to go out proper. I came in proper and I want to go out proper.

    “I wish I could tell you more. In the next couple of months you’ll learn a bit about what we’re going to do but I can tell you it’s huge.”

    He added: “I want to go out in a way that’s going to get people talking.

    “It’s a thing that needs to be discussed more openly and I think it’s going to shock a few people.”

    Danny went on: “I’ve done ten years, over 1,000 episodes, and it’s time to move on from it.

    “I just want the right ending. I don’t want to jump in the back of a cab!”

    Corrie fans fuming soap was 'robbed' at British Soap Awards

    CORONATION STREET fans have been left complaining that the soap was 'robbed' at The British Soap Awards "fixed" following a series of unlikely winners.

    ITV’s Emmerdale won the big prize taking home Best British Soap after a critically-acclaimed year. 

    While most viewers were content with Emmerdale’s win, some believe the show was fixed.

    “This has got 2 b a bl**dy #fix,” complained one fan on Twitter.

    A second viewer said: “This is a bigger fix than yesterday’s episode of The Chase.”

    Another noted: “EastEnders should of won that!!!!!!! The best Soap of the year by a country mile.”

    A fourth commented: “Some very questionable “results” in tonight’s #SoapAwards… While I do, genuinely, congratulate all Winners – particularly @MarkCharnock – I’d be very interested to know the voting figures in the audience determined categories. #TeamCorrie #Corrie.”

    Viewers were also left gobsmacked to see that Doctors beat EastEnders, Corrie and Emmerdale to win best episode.

    Taking to Twitter to complain, on person wrote: “I’m sorry but who the f*** voted for doctors?! #soapawards.”

    A second added: “Sod off 😂 some better single episode storylines out there than doctors… didn’t even know that was still on”

    “Doctors?! Corrie robbed again #soapawards,” a third ranted.

    Soap fans left open mouthed by Sharon’s insult

    SHARON Watts is on to Janine Butcher, especially after Linda Carter’s life was left in danger.

    But during a suspense-filled argument, EastEnders viewers were left in awe when she viciously insulted the villain.

    But while the Eastenders icon defended her friend, the surprise insult made fans’ jaws drop, prompting them to swarm over to social media.

    “I’ve noticed they’ve been using the word b***h more often lately in EastEnders”, one of them wrote.

    A second quipped: “People on phone to Ofcom because Sharon called Janine a b***h at 7:37pm” as another chimed in alongside laughing face emojis: “Sharon calling Janine a b***h.”

    “There’s the word b***h again”, penned another.

    After 37 years, the legendary Australian soap is coming to an end. And who better to send the show off than legendary soap star Jackie Woodburne.

    Woodburne has been with the show through thick and thin, staring in some its most iconic plot lines, so producers felt it should be her that says goodbye.

    A source said: “Jackie is very much seen as the soap’s matriarch.

    "It felt right that the last words ever spoken would be by her.

    "She delivers the performance of a lifetime.”

    EastEnders star plays coy on dating rumours

    Rumours have abound Eastender's stars Shona McGarty and Max Bowden have begun dating. But the actress is keeping her lips sealed.

    Last night she gave a cheeky nod to her growing closeness to co-star Max Bowden, smiling: “Who doesn’t love a kebab?”

    Shona was speaking at the British Soap Awards hosted by Phillip Schofield at London’s Hackney Empire, where EastEnders won four gongs including an Outstanding Achievement award for stalwart Letitia Dean, 54, who plays Sharon Watts.

    Van life: Why this EastEnders star chooses to live in a motorhome

    Adam Woodyatt has revealed that he has been living in a motorhome for over a year.

    The actor, 53, who plays Ian Beale, moved out of his London house — and has “no plans” to return.

    He told a podcast: “It’s been 14 or 15 months and I’m absolutely loving it.

    “I’ve no plans to move out.

    "It’s a completely different way of life.

    "You don’t need the trappings.

    A look back at Danny’s pop at Schofe

    Presenter Phillip Schofield clashed with Danny Dyer two years running and admitted the EastEnders hardman was “scaring the life out of him”.

    In 2018, in what may have been a planned stunt, Danny got irritated at the host repeatedly asking if he was “alright”.

    He eventually stood and squared up to Schofe, barking: “What, you want to make one with me?”

    Phil joked: “Leave it you, back off. Sit down I’m in charge here mate.”

    The following year Danny sat stoney-faced as Phillip made a gag about him being a fan of “trim down South” – in reference to Corrie’s Trim Up North barber shop.

    The actor failed to respond and turned to the person sitting next to him, ignoring Phil, who laughed awkwardly.

    She was terrified she would lose her baby as she went into labour while at work, with Felix helping her deliver the baby.

    Nancy sadly suffered a miscarriage in 2012, and then a a brutal stabbing in 2020 killed Kyle Kelly’s baby.

    Although clueless, Felix did an amazing job helping Nancy deliver her baby girl.

    She was terrified of losing her daughter as she had no medical help, but Felix did an amazing job supporting her.

    Nancy told Felix a day didn’t go by that she didn’t think of her babies she had lost.

    Emmerdale fans believe Andrea Tate has a brother secretly residing in the village.

    Viewers know that Mike said there was a mystery man who was the son of Hazel’s ex-partner meaning he has a link to Andrea.

    But he has not been revealed to viewers yet. However, reports that many fans reckon he is drug dealer Jason, who has made brief appearances in the village.

    Twitter user @Sofaneilas tweeted: “Ooooo So Andrea had a brother? Watch it be Marcus, Jordan or that Drug guy who’s dueling Leyla hahaha #emmerdale.”
