EASTENDERS’ actress Cheryl Fergison has begged Coronation Street to give her a part after seven stars quit.
The 53-year-old, who played Heather Trott on the BBC show between 2007 to 2012, tweeted the soap asking if they had any “spare parts”.
She wrote: "Ok… so @coronationstreet actresses seem to be leaving one by one.
"Well this actress right here would be very happy treading the cobbles if there was a spare role going?"
Since leaving the soap Cheryl has appeared in Celebrity Big Brother as well as a number of other reality shows and has appeared on stage in Liverpool.
Yesterday Lucy Fallon became the seventh star to leave the crisis-hit soap in three months.
She is leaving Coronation Street once her contract expires in 2020 to pursue other acting roles.
