Coronation Street fans will meet Kelly Neelan's suspicious prison ally, Mia in upcoming scenes.
Kelly (Mollie Gibson) is currently serving time for the murder of Seb Franklin (Harry Visinoni) after being found guilty in tense scenes earlier this month.
Seb's real killer Corey Brent (Maximus Evans) walked free after his legal team pulled out all the stops.
In Friday's episodes of the ITV soap, Kelly connected with her fellow prisoner Mia, who is portrayed by teenage actress Madeleine Edmondson.
Mia will be the main catalyst in a storyline which may see Kelly potentially find out the truth about her deceased father Rick Neelan (Greg Wood).
But, who is Madeleine Edmondson? And, why does she look so familiar?
Madeleine is an English actress who made her TV acting debut in 2016.
The youngster was cast as Chloe Gifford in the rebooted ITV drama Cold Feet and portrayed the character for 26 episodes.
In 2020, she appeared in one episode of The Worst Witch as a character called Carmilla Clove.
Earlier this year, she played Sienna in Tracey Beaker spin-off show, The Dumping Ground.
Madeleine made her Coronation Street debut on Friday, September 17.
Posting to Instagram ahead of the episodes airing, Madeleine wrote: "For those who are interested, I'll be appearing towards the end of tonight's Coronation Street."
In scenes to air next week, Kelly will be left feeling rejected by her new friend following a visit from her dad Rick's old associate, Sharon Geary (Naomi Cooper-Davis).

The trouble begins when Sharon informs Kelly that she doesn't have to worry about raising money for her legal fees, as a donation has been made by an anonymous source to help fund her appeal.
Kelly thinks the money has come from her dad Rick and is ecstatic, believing it's conformation he's still alive.
While Kelly is thrilled with the development, Mia is disturbed to see Sharon in the prison and realises Kelly is Rick's daughter after Kelly informs her that Sharon works for her dad.
With Mia unable to hide her horror, Kelly demands an answer as to why she has a problem with Rick.
Mia then informs Kelly that Rick is the cause of her own imprisonment and the reason her mother is dead.
A reeling Kelly tells Mia her father is now living in Spain and is responsible for paying her legal fees, though Mia remains unconvinced and shares her own theory that someone has bumped Rick off and gotten away with it.
Coronation Street viewers will know that Rick was killed by Gary Windass (Mikey North) in 2019 in an act of self-defence, with Gary paying Kelly's legal fees due to his guilt.
As Kelly rings Gary and demands to know the truth about her father, will Gary come clean?
