Coronation Street fans pointed out Kelly Neelan's blunder on Wednesday as she managed to escape from a cellar after being kidnapped by one of her father's evil old clients, Kieron.
Only recently, Kelly found herself panic-stricken and a prisoner in a darkened cellar after her good intentions went dangerously wrong.
On Friday 15 July, Kelly was kidnapped by Kieron after she tracked him down to pay him back his money in a bid to repent her father's wrongdoings.
After finding a wad of cash, which belonged to her late father, Kelly decided to reach out to the people he ripped off over the years and repay their money.
Despite being warned not to by protective Gary Windass, headstrong Kelly refused to listen and after a dramatic showdown decided to go ahead with her plan by meeting up with Kieron where she was kidnapped and locked in a cellar.
During Wednesday's episode, the kidnappers called Gary as they demanded money for Kelly's safety to which he met them.
However, Gary cleverly put a tracker device in the bag of money as he followed them in a bid to rescue Kelly.
After a fight scene, Kelly picked up a crowbar as she knocked the kidnapper unconscious as they escaped the room.
However, just before leaving, Kelly dropped the crowbar on the floor with fans left frustrated over her blunder as her finger prints will be all over it.
Taking to Twitter, one person said: "Why didn’t Kelly take the crowbar with her ! Her fingerprints will be all over it now #Corrie."
A different account put: "Fingerprints on crowbar ! #Corrie."
Another follower wrote: "Silly girl, fingerprints #Corrie."

A different viewer put: "He’s probably dead, the police will find the crowbar, go through the database and match her fingerprints #Corrie."
While another show watcher added: "Shouldn't have left the crowbar, Kelly's fingerprints will be all over it #Corrie."
However, viewers need not worry as at the end of the episode it was revealed that they had told the police and it was being treated as "reasonable force" with the two characters as "witnesses" not criminals.
