Clarkson's Farm star Kaleb Cooper appeared on Thursday's episode of Steph's Packed Lunch and revealed his shot to fame has him spotted wherever he goes.

Jeremy Clarkson's farm manager Kaleb told the daytime host that since the show has risen to success, he's become a very famous face in his hometown.

When asked what it's like becoming an overnight star by host Steph McGovern, the 22-year-old Diddly Squat Farm manager said it's been a drastic change to his pre-show days.

He said: "Everyone always said to me when we were filming it like 'Oh, you're gonna be the star of the show.

"All of a sudden the show was released and on the first day I went up to 40,000 followers on Instagram and now I'm on almost 267,000."

He added: "I mean getting a pint of milk is virtually impossible now, I go down into the shop and it's an hour and a half before I actually get the pint of milk, and then I've got to get back out of the store.

"Which is lovely, because I love the fact I'm inspiring young people to go into farming and teaching people about farming which is really good. I really enjoy it."

The young star also went on to explain how his newfound fame has even affected his friends.

Kaleb said: "We were filming for 18 months and I didn't tell many people at all until when it near enough come out, I was like I've gotta tell you something I'm gonna be on TV. Then when it came out they watched it and they loved it.

"It's probably changed quite a bit for them as well because everyone goes up to them and they're like 'Oh you're Kaleb's friend and they're like 'Oh, what's he like?'

"And they say 'He's just Kaleb to be honest, that funny chap that farms and sometimes gets angry if you don't do something right but he's a nice chap.'

"For them, it's a little bit strange, to be honest, but it's good."

On the show, Kaleb and Jeremy's antics have boded well with fans with viewers cracking up at their work-related spats.

When asked if he was initially nervous about putting the former Top Gear host in his place, Kaleb confirmed that it didn't really phase him.

He added: "I wasn't nervous I was very angry, all of the anger comes out at once so I didn't think of anything else until I got back to the farm and was like 'Was I a little too harsh on him then?'

"But he takes it on the chin."
