Brad Pitt and Jennifer Aniston to reunite for live table read amid actor's dragged-out divorce with Angelina Jolie

BRAD Pitt and Jennifer Aniston will reunite for a live table read of Fast Times at Ridgemont High amid the actor's dragged-out divorce with Angelina Jolie.

The exes will be crossing paths once again as the Once Upon a Time in Hollywood star has joined the incredible table read cast of the 1982 classic.

The pair, who were married from 2001 to 2005, will be joining more famous faces including, Matthew McConaughey, Shia LaBeouf, Julia Roberts, Sean Penn, Morgan Freeman, and others.

The table read will be virtual and will stream on various platforms including Facebook and TikTok on Aug. 21 at 8 p.m.

The news comes as Brad, 56, and Angelina continue to find themselves trying to finalize their divorce.

Most recently, the actress, 45, asked that John W. Ouderkirk, a private judge, be disqualified from the case because he was too late and not open enough about other cases he was hired for involving Brad's attorney, Anne C. Kiley, according to court documents.

A new filing reads that during the proceedings, the judge had allegedly “failed to disclose the cases that demonstrated the current, ongoing, repeat-customer relationship between the judge and Respondent’s counsel.”

However, an insider close to the case says that the Maleficent star is simply stalling as things are not working out in her favor when it comes to the custody arrangements for their children.

A family friend exclusively told The Sun: "This is a low blow from Ange and a typical stall tactic used by people who don't like how the case is going.

"If you feel you are winning, you don't try and stop the process and change the referee, so Ange’s latest move is testament to her frustration at the settlement not going her way.

"If it was, she would never want to rock the boat by requesting for their private judge to be removed."

The source added: "Ange’s filing only serves the interests of someone who wants the process to continue indefinitely as it's going to further delay their divorce being finalized and drag it out even longer."

The former couple, who split in 2016, share six kids: Maddox, 19, Pax, 16, Zahara, 15, Shiloh, 14, and twins Vivienne and Knox, 12.

The divorce has been delayed numerous times, including recently due to the coronavirus pandemic.

A source told Us Weekly at the time: "With the pandemic, it has been hard for everyone, including them. The legal process is slowed because of that.

"They are continuing regular visits but there has not been a lot of progress in terms of resolving anything.”

Brad did see his ex-wife recently as he was seen leaving Angelina's $24 million house on a motorcycle after reportedly spending two hours inside the LA home.
