Eddie Hearn – born June 8, 1979 – is a 40-year-old boxing promoter from Essex.

He is the son of fellow promoter Barry, who founded Matchroom Sport, with Eddie acting as group managing director.

He focuses mostly on fulfilling the company's television deal with Sky Sports – which runs until 2021.

However, Matchroom also have links to darts as well as other events aside from boxing.

Who does Eddie Hearn promote?

Eddie Hearn promotes Matchroom Sport's current and former world champions, including Anthony Joshua, Billy Joe Saunders, as well as Lee Selby, Kell Brook and Oleksandr Usyk.

Also on the books are Rocky Fielding, Dillian Whyte, Devin Haney, Callum Smith, Hughie Fury and Joseph Parker.

The company has 89 boxers on its list, including female fighters like two-weight world champ Katie Taylor and rising star Shannon Courtenay.

Yet, Hearn Jr and Matchroom took on an entirely different fight recently, acting as promoters for the massive YouTube boxing rematch between KSI and Logan Paul.

Their first bout drew in 1.4m pay-per-views in an amateur clash that ended in a draw.

But Hearn has played a huge part in making the second fight professional, where they will wear 10oz gloves and no headgear – which has helped attracted the likes of TV companies DAZN and Sky Sports.
