'Time to unbalance the scale' – Cristiano Ronaldo breaks silence after another hat-trick as he breaks Man Utd record

CRISTIANO RONALDO achieved yet another incredible feat after netting a treble on Saturday.

The Portuguese superstar, 37, scored a hat-trick to down Norwich City in the Premier League.

It was his 30th hat-trick after turning 30, equalling the same amount he scored before reaching that milestone.

That fact wasn't lost on Ronaldo, who took to Twitter to share his delight about his latest achievement – vowing to score even more.

He wrote: "30 hat-tricks before 30 and 30 hat-tricks after 30. It’s time to unbalance the scale!"

Of Ronaldo's sixty career hat-tricks, 44 came at Real Madrid.

Man Utd’s Ten Hag appointment confirmed by Ajax technical director

He has scored three across two spells at Manchester United, managed three in two seasons at Juventus, and has scored 10 for his country.

Although he has been unfairly written off by some, Ronaldo has managed 21 goals in all competitions this season – sitting 12 ahead of fellow countryman Bruno Fernandes in second place.

In reaching the 20-goal landmark, Ronaldo has also become the first No7 since… Ronaldo to score that many.

He scored over 20 in the 2008-09 season, before he moved to Real Madrid.
