    BOGEY

Maybe Will Zalatoris is starting to overthink things now!

He puts way too much power on a putt that's only five feet from the pin and has to roll in for a bogey on the par four third.

He's now at eight under par through three holes.

    BOGEY-BIRDIE

The pair of Marc Leishman and Justin Rose have had identical starts to the round.

They open with a bogey but return with a birdie at the second after excellent wedge shots from both of them get them within close range of the hole.

They keep their cool to one putt for birdies apiece and move back to seven under par.

They're three shots off the lead with sixteen holes left to play.

    NERVY START

Hideki Matsuyama was always in trouble at the first after his tee shot was way right and into the trees.

He was lucky from there to catch a nice break between the trees to get himself within range of the green but he couldn't save his par.

His tee shot at the second is perfect though, an excellent fairway finder.

    That's better Hideki.

    OFF TO A FLYER

Will Zalatoris is on the march after two birdies to start the day.

Add those to Hideki Matsuyama's bogey at the first and he's just one shot off the top of the leaderboard.

He was four shots back half an hour ago!

    LIVE LEADERBOARD

The leaderboard is looking a whole lot closer all of a sudden.

Hideki Matsuyama can't let that bogey get to him but the chasing pack will know the door has just opened that little bit wider.

It's amazing what pressure can do.

    HIDEKI MATSUYAMA BOGEYS THE FIRST!

HIS LEAD IS CUT FROM FOUR SHOTS TO ONE!

THE 2021 MASTERS IS WELL AND TRULY ALIVE!

    DRAMA ALREADY AT AUGUSTA!

    WONDERFUL WILL

    Will Zalatoris!

Back-to-back birdies to start the day at the first and second!

The 24-year-old has made a dream start and cut Hideki Matsuyama's lead to just two shots!

    He couldn't, could he?

    HERE'S HIDEKI

    BOGEY START

Justin Rose's partner, Marc Leishman, has also bogeyed the first.

Both of them send their green finders too long off the back of the green so it's an uphill battle from there to save par.

Both of them chip up onto the green and two putt for bogeys apiece.

  • Giacomo Pisa

    ROSE BOGEYS!

A NIGHTMARE START FROM THE ENGLISHMAN!

HE'S FIVE SHOTS OFF THE LEAD AS THINGS STAND!

  • Giacomo Pisa

    HIDEKI STARTS

Oooooh, maybe a hint of nerves there from Hideki Matsuyama.

His tee shot from the first fades too far to the right and is in the trees, just evading the bunkers on the right hand side of the fairway.

Xander Schauffele shows him how it's done, drilling his tee shot straight down the middle of the fairway.

  • Giacomo Pisa

    HELLO HATTON

UK number one Tyrrell Hatton is having a stormer of a back nine!

He's birdied the thirteenth, fourteenth, fifteenth AND sixteenth to be four under par for the day with two holes left.

He's one under par for the tournament and looking to go out on a high here.

  • Giacomo Pisa

    CASEY COMPLETE

Paul Casey's 2021 Masters comes to an end.

He posts a very good three under par round of 69 to finish the tournament at one over par.

He'll be disappointed that bogeying the seventeenth means he doesn't finish level for the weekend.

  • Giacomo Pisa

    ROSE TO START

    Right here we go.

Justin Rose tees off at the first hole for his fourth round.

That's the way to start, onto the the right hand side of the fairway.

    That will settle the nerves.

  • Giacomo Pisa

    SLOPPY START

The one thing Jordan Spieth would have not wanted to do at the first hole was drop a shot.

That's exactly what he's done though as he three putts to bogey at the first.

He drops to four under par overall with seventeen holes left to play.

  • Giacomo Pisa

    EAGLE ALERT

There are good scores to be made out there today.

Patrick Reed is the latest player to register an eagle at the par five second hole.

He climbs to tied ninth on three under par alongside John Rahm and Tony Finau.

  • Giacomo Pisa

    SPIETH STARTS

Jordan Spieth is underway on Masters Sunday.

He starts the day in seventh place, six shots off the lead.

Don't rule him out though, he's made some magnificent shots so far this weekend and is coming into the tournament in good form after winning the Texas Valero Open last week.

He could be the one to watch today.

  • Giacomo Pisa

    FOUR-IN-A-ROW

It's now FOUR birdies in a row for Paul Casey!

Where has this been all tournament?

The Englishman is flying through the back nine after a brilliant first shot at the sixteenth drops the ball just five yards for the pin.

He rolls it home to record his fourth consecutive birdie and is level par for the tournament with two holes left to play.

  • Giacomo Pisa

    EAGLE ALERT

Finally some good news for Bryson DeChambeau fans.

He EAGLES the par five thirteenth hole to finish Amen Corner with a flourish.

His first shot is a 336 yard monster that cuts the corner at the fifteenth to set him up to eagle.

He's still one over par for the day though after bogeys at the eighth, eleventh and twelfth.

Tied 38th and three over par overall is not the way he saw the tournament going.

  • Giacomo Pisa

    TONY IN THE TREES

Not the start Tony Finau would have wanted.

His tee shot at the first pulls to the left and flies into the trees.

His partner and Scotsman Robert Macintyre starts better.

His tee shot finds the fairway to set him up well for a par or better start.

  • Giacomo Pisa

    THREE-IN-A-ROW

Paul Casey is finishing with a flourish at Augusta.

He's birdied the thirteenth, fourteenth and fifteenth to currently be three under par for his final round.

He's still one over par for the tournament but will be hoping for one more birdie to end the weekend well and post a par or better score.

  • Giacomo Pisa

    FIVE TO GO

Just FIVE pairs left to tee off now and in all likelihood the 2021 Masters winner is one of these ten men.

Will Hideki Matsuyama hold on for victory or will one of the chasing pack shoot the round of their life to steal the green jacket?

    The tension is building!

Strap yourselves in and wait for the drama to unfold.

    19:00 R MacIntyre (Sco), T Finau (US)

    19:10 B Harman (US), J Spieth (US)

    19:20 C Conners (Can), W Zalatoris (US)

    19:30 J Rose (Eng), M Leishman (Aus)

    19:40 X Schauffele (US), H Matsuyama (Jpn)

  • Giacomo Pisa

    HISTORY MAKER?

If Hideki Matsuyama can hold on to his lead today he would become Japan's first ever major champion.

Just eighteen holes stand between him and the green jacket.

  • Giacomo Pisa

    POULTER BOGEYS

Ian Poulter is back to one over par overall after a bogey at the par three twelfth hole.

His first shot is into the first bunker on the left hand side of the green.

From there he chips onto the green but doesn't get enough on it and his ball rolls to a stop ten yards in front of the hole.

His ten foot effort is a good one but it fades just a tad too much to the right meaning he can only tap in for a bogey.

  • Giacomo Pisa

    BRYSON BOGEYS

Bryson DeChambeau has his head in his hands.

    And rightfully so.

He three putts on the green to drop another shot with his second bogey of the day.

He's yet to hit a birdie yet this round and is four over par with seven holes left of his 2021 Masters.
