Indy 500 practice schedule, speeds, time results: Who’s fastest for 2019 race?

The whole practice-makes-perfect thing will only apply to the winner of the 2019 Indy 500, which is frustrating for the 35-plus other drivers and race teams who are going through a borderline excessive amount of practice sessions prior to the 103rd running of The Greatest Spectacle in Racing all for nothing.

Including the final Indy 500 practice known as Carb Day, and not including three qualifying sessions, there are nine practice sessions stuffed into the two weeks before the race, which will take the green flag on Sunday, May 26 at 12 p.m. ET on NBC.

Below is the full practice schedule for the Indy 500 in 2019.

The most extensive practice session, Tuesday’s Practice 1, was paced by Will Power, last year’s Indy 500 winner. Yet he was 21st fastest in Practice 2 on Wednesday and 14th fastest in Practice 3 on Thursday.

Below are the speeds and results from all the practice sessions ahead of the 2019 Indy 500. The results will be posted upon completion of each session.
