I tried out the VIP Man Utd ‘Seat of Dreams’ – and sat next to a two-time Champions League winner | The Sun

A MANCHESTER UNITED fan has provided an inside look at the Seat of Dreams VIP section at Old Trafford.

Lucky fans get to watch a game from the comfort of a sofa – with free snacks, a cheese platter and even the company of a Red Devils legend.

The experience is offered by Marriott, with the hotel chain auctioning off the VIP day out to its customers.

Fans can even enjoy an overnight stay at Old Trafford and access to the famous pitch.

The Padded Seat YouTube channel was lucky enough to experience the 'Seat of Dreams' experience back when United defeated Charlton Athletic on their way to winning the Carabao Cup.

And now they have provided first-hand footage of their day – including sitting next to a two-time Champions League winner.

Ex-Manchester United and England star Wes Brown declared bankrupt

A Paul Smith gift bag containing a notepad and matchday programme was waiting for them in the VIP lounge on arrival.

After tucking into the delicious-looking unlimited food stations and free drinks, the supporters enjoyed a Q&A with some former players before they got the team news ahead of kick-off.

Prior to heading out to the stands, they grabbed a free coffee and made the short walk out of the lounge and out into the “pretty special” padded seat waiting for them.

A table had been placed between the two “very comfy sofas” and it came with two buckets full of complimentary food and drinks, a TV screen for action replays from the match and even a phone charging point.

“And if that wasn’t enough,” our narrator informs us, “you even get to watch the match next to a Manchester United legend.”

At that point ex-United defender Wes Brown appears and gives the fan a fist bump as he takes his seat next to them.

Brown, who has been declared bankrupt this week, reportedly earned up to £50,000 a week during his spell at Old Trafford.

The versatile defender spent 15 years at United after progressing through the youth ranks.

He later had spells at Sunderland and Blackburn before retiring at Kerala Blasters.

Brown, 43, won 23 England caps between 1999-2010 and lifted the Premier League five times under Sir Alex Ferguson.

He was also part of the 1999 and 2008 Champions League-winning teams and won the FA Cup twice and the League Cup on three occasions.
