Mount and Sancho in, Trippier and Saka out. NO Grealish. Thoughts?

Gareth Southgate makes two changes from the team that beat Germany and it looks like a tactical switch too.

Kieran Trippier and Bukayo Saka drop out for Man Utd newboy Jadon Sancho and Mason Mount.

Southgate has reverted to a back four, specifically a 4-2-3-1 it appears.

    1 Pickford; 2 Walker, 5 Stones, 6 Maguire, 3 Shaw; 4 Rice, 14 Phillips; 19 Mount, 10 Sterling, 17 Sancho; 9 Kane (c).

England have lost just one of their seven meetings with Ukraine in all competitions (W4 D2), going down 0-1 in October 2009 in a World Cup qualifier.

The last two games between the sides have finished level, with this the first meeting since September 2013 (0-0 in Kiev).

England and Ukraine have met a major tournament once before, with the Three Lions winning 1-0 in the group stages of EURO 2012, thanks to a Wayne Rooney goal.

Ukraine have scored just three goals in their seven meetings with England, and never more than once in a match.

The last four meetings between the sides have produced just four goals in total (2 each).

Italy will face Spain in the first semi-final of Euro 2020 at Wembley next Tuesday.

And as it stands, Denmark will play either England or Ukraine.

But that could all change with Schick getting an early second half goal, and the Czechs are hunting for an equaliser.

Well, we've got a game on our hands in Baku! Schick has scored AGAIN at Euro 2020.

And it's now 2-1 with 40 minutes still to play.

It's Denmark in complete control in Baku.

Kasper Hjulmand's side lead by two following Thomas Delaney's early header, and Kasper Dolberg's close range volley just before the break.

Czech Republic have tested their opponents from dead ball situations, but it's going to take an inspired half-time teamtalk from Jaroslav Silhavy for his side to rescue this tie.

The Danes are two ahead just before half-time and it's Dolberg who's got the second goal!

It looks like the Danes are heading to Wembley next week to face either England or Ukraine in the semi-final.

England centre-back John Stones has praised the team's winning mentality ahead of tonight's game.

And the defender takes particular pride in the number of clean sheets England have kept.

The Three Lions are yet to concede at Euro 2020.

He said: "If we could go all the way and win this without conceding, it would be more history, but we’ve got a tough opponent coming up next and that’s the main focus.

"I know they’ve got quality and they’ve scored some great goals in previous games so it’s about us doing our homework and training hard on the pitch while we’ve got the chance.

“As I said that clean sheet mentality and winning mentality has got to keep having that snowball effect and keep growing and growing and we’ll see where it takes us.”

Ukraine star man Aleks Zinchenko has sounded the alarm, warning his team-mates of his Man City friend and England winger Raheem Sterling.

He said: "Raheem Sterling is one of the best wingers in the world.

"Right now, he is in amazing form, he is great. He makes the difference. We obviously need to pay attention and we will need to somehow maybe stop him because he is on a roll now. "

Ex England defender and Man Utd legend Rio Ferdinand has praised Declan Rice and Kalvin Phillips for the protection they give England's backline.

Speaking in his exclusive BBC column, he said: "England's centre-halves couldn't have asked for a better shield than the one Declan Rice and Kalvin Phillips have given them so far at Euro 2020.

"They've slowed the opposition down and covered the ground really well – but they have also been methodical in their play and aggressive when needed, like they were against Germany in the last 16.

"If you're a defender, that's exactly what you want in front of you. What I love about them is that those boys know their roles, and they are not bothered about being a superstar.

"I know Declan very well and I've spoken to Kalvin on a couple of occasions recently and the one thing I would say about them straight away is that, in equal amounts, they are both extremely humble.

"They want to do their job for the team and someone else can have the accolades – as long as we get the right result."

Ukraine manager and football legend Andriy Shevchenko has stated that his team has already achieved their goal.

Speaking ahead of today's quarter-final clash against England, he said: "We have achieved our main goal already and everything else will be a bonus.

"Probably, there is a different pressure on England.

"They are seen as favourites but everyone perfectly knows that anything can happen in football.

"We are preparing very seriously and we want to surprise England. We can see the great job done by Gareth Southgate.

"Beyond all doubt, they are one of the best teams at this moment. So we perfectly understand how strong our opponent is and how hard the game will be for us."

Man Utd defender Harry Maguire has insisted that England are focussed on tonight's game against Ukraine.

He said: "We had a great night the other day but we have done nothing. We're fully focused on the game against Ukraine.

"You've seen in this tournament that if you don't perform to a high level, you lose your spot in the tournament.

"So, mentally we'll be focused, we'll be ready. Ukraine have got good principles.

"They like to play, build up. They've got a threat at the top end of the pitch with Yarmolenko so they're a good team with a good structure."
