    THIS is a big blow to England – but take absolutely nothing away from Pakistan who on the day were by far the better side.

    A pretty shambolic effort in the field has cost Eoin Morgan's side today, who conceded 348-8 to a Pakistan side out to prove a point following that defeat to the Windies last week.

    Despite centuries from Joe Root and Jos Buttler in reply, England couldn't sustain the chase with their usual gusto and fall agonisingly short.
