BARCELONA have been branded a “disaster” by Spanish media after a record-breaking third home defeat in a row.
The LaLiga side slipped to a disappointing 1-0 loss at the Nou Camp last night by Rayo Vallecano.
Gavi hit the crossbar and Ousmane Dembele had an effort cleared off the line as Barcelona tried in vain to find an equaliser.
This latest reverse followed disappointments against Eintracht Frankfurt in the Europa League and Cadiz in LaLiga.
And the result meant it is the first time they have suffered three-straight setbacks on home soil in a single season ever.
The only other times they have lost three in a row at home was in the 90s with the matches spread over two seasons.

Xavi, 42, said: “Mistakes cannot be repeated. We must be self-critical. It's our reality. We have to match the desire, the desire of our rival.
“We were excited about a good run, with the good games in the Europa League. Now, it is not very motivating to fight for second place for a club like Barca, but we have to improve.
“We have to go into the games better. In the first half, we were not good. In the second better.
