Arsenal star Willian will '100 per cent leave club' with David Beckham's Inter Miami eyeing transfer swoop for winger

MIKEL ARTETA'S squad clearout is set to begin with Willian '100 per cent' heading for the exit door, according to reports.

Arsenal are eager to let the Brazilian leave this summer following a disappointing debut campaign at the Emirates.

It is no surprise Arteta will allow Willian to leave with the player pocketing £220,000-a-week after signing a three-year deal.

The 32-year-old ended the campaign with just one league goal to his name.

Transfer guru Fabrizio Romano says his time in North London will be cut short with links of a move to Inter Miami.

Romano said on his Here We Go Podcast: "Willian. Willian is leaving the club, I want to confirm that Willian is leaving the club.

"There is nothing going on with other English clubs, but he’s leaving the club, so 100 per cent, Willian is going to leave."

SunSport exclusively revealed how David Beckham's Inter Miami are leading the chase for his signing.

Willian is also eager for a career swansong in South Florida.

Boss Phil Neville is eager to land another star-studded name and wants to sign Willian but knows it will be difficult to offload Mexcian international Rodolfo Pizarro first.

Pizarro is one of the highest earners and a designated player yet has failed to impress Neville.

Willian will command big MLS wages – former Juventus and Real Madrid hitman Gonzalo Higuain earns around £3.5million – so Pizarro will need to be sold despite a lack of suitors right now.

The Gunners have confirmed David Luiz, will leave the club when his contract expires at the end of the season.

Midfielder Matteo Guendouzi is reportedly close to signing for Ligue 1 side Marseille.

Granit Xhaka looks braced to join Jose Mourinho and Roma while Dani Ceballos is heading back to Real Madrid following his loan stint.
