Waiting for a parcel to arrive often brings feelings of excitement and anticipation.
However, in the flurry of getting your hands on your goods, thoughts of your appearance can go out of the window.
Often, many of us are sporting questionable hair dos and our dressing gowns when answering the door to the postman.
Now that some postal services have to take photo evidence of the delivery – awkwardly being pictured hiding behind the door or candid feet snaps have become the norm.
Despite people's usual disdain for the photo snapping postman, this one woman has seen it as a perfect opportunity to get in touch with her inner model.
Carys Nelkon thought that she was going to make the most out of the delivery driver's photography and asked him to hold her a photoshoot.
In a hilarious snap shared to Twitter, Carys can be seen donning some bright coloured trousers, a jumper and some Donald Duck socks.
She struck a pose worthy for the cover of Vogue.
Armed with an ASOS parcel as an accessory, the doorstop model lifted one of her legs up and leant back whilst flaunting a wide grin.
She captioned the post: “New favourite game is asking delivery man to do an impromptu photo shoot when I take in my bfs parcels.”
Many people fled to the comments to praise Carys for her creativity – and some are even inspired to give the doorstop posing a go themselves.
One person chuckled: “Usually mine are photos of my dog trying to sniff the delivery drivers legs.”
Another user added: “Brilliant.”
Whilst a third person praised: “You are fab.”
Someone else expressed: “I am definitely doing this next time.”
As a fifth person admitted they wanted to get in on the action: “Can’t believe I’ve been dodging the cameras all this time when I could have been doing this.”
