All you need is an empty tube of Smarties… and some money of course to start saving.
A woman shared the trick on Facebook and revealed the chocolate packaging is enough to fit £2 coins perfectly.
With the sizing of the Smarties pack, you can save a whopping £166 without even realising it.
The user posted the tip in the Parents United, Let's Do This Together! Support Ideas & Inspiration Hub group.
She wrote: "Did you or your kids get Smarties tubes this Christmas? Use to save £2 coins.
"They fit perfectly and one full tube = £166."
Since she shared the simple tip without the hassle of actually putting money aside, everyone thought it was brilliant.
Many fans thanked the woman for revealing the clever hack and said they'll give it a try with their empty Smarties tubes.
