DEAR DEIDRE: BEING in bed with my wife is like sleeping next to a bulldozer.
I have tried using earplugs to block out her snoring but they just don’t work.
Every night we get into bed, she rolls over and the noise begins.
My wife is 50 and a little plump. The doctor says she’s overweight but I don’t want to hurt her feelings by suggesting she goes on a diet, even though I think it might help.
Things have really deteriorated in our relationship over the past few years.
We never have cuddles, let alone sex.

She flinches if I put my arm around her, and she barely talks to me any more.
I’m 52 and miserable. How can I get our marriage back on track?
DEAR DEIDRE: You are feeling unloved and unvalued, which isn’t surprising given there is no affection or communication between you and your wife.
Perhaps she’s unhappy with her size, which is why she won’t let you touch her.
Tell her you love her and that you need to talk about your relationship to sort things out.
My support pack Looking After Your Relationship should help you get back on track.
