And with the final just a few days away, the couple remain at the top of the leaderboard, scoring 79 points in the semi-final, making them joint leaders alongside AJ Odudu and Kai Widdrington.
But aside from their enviable scores, data from social media suggests that Strictly professional Giovanni is the most popular professional dancer on the show.
Crowning him the winner of the ‘influencer Glitterball’, casino expertsCasino Bee, found that the 31 year old has amassed more followers than any other professional in the competition.

Since the first live show of the series back in September, Gio has gained more than 217,000 followers on Instagram.
Starting the show with 476,000 followers, the professional now has a following of 702,000. That’s an increase of over 40 per cent.
Sharing behind-the-scenes videos of him and Rose rehearsing, followers of Gio are given a real insight into the work that goes behind the couple’s weekly routines.
Coming in second place, newbie Kai has also proven popular on the platform, acquiring 139,574 followers since the launch show, coming to a 700 per cent follower increase altogether.
Amy Dowden, who was eliminated in week nine alongside McFly’s Tom Fletcher, gained 106,201 new followers and Johannes Rabede gained 95,422.
When it comes to the celebrity contestants, Rose is equally as popular as Gio.
Having entered week one with 58,900 followers, she now has over 397,000 followers. This means that she could rake in a huge £1,562.17 per post on the platform alone.
The 27 year old is the first deaf contestant to appear on the top BBC show. and has been praised by viewers for using her platform to spread deaf awareness within the wider community.
After including a silent moment in her dance to a rendition of Clean Bandit's 'Symphony', Giovanni and Rose made history with their Couple's Choice routine.
