When a mum was asked to help her children with a reading assignment, she happily obliged.
In a bid to encourage the kids to be bookworms, Lianna Baker was asked to snap a picture of herself reading a novel.
Her kids’ primary school emailed her: "We are trying to encourage children to read for pleasure so to this end, I wonder if any of you would be willing to send in a photo of yourself holding a book you recommend.
"I would like to make some posters for the children to read. As adults, we are all role models for the children, so who better to inspire them."
Not wanting to miss an opportunity to crack a joke, she picked up 50 Shades of Grey and posed with it.
The cheeky mum didn’t send the photo to the school – instead deciding to post it in Facebook group Family Lockdown Tips and Ideas.
Lianne wrote alongside the email and the pic of herself: "When you get an email from your child's school at 7.30pm."
Her post attracted thousands of likes and hundreds of comments, with many branding it “hilarious”.
Some were even inspired to post photos of themselves reading inappropriate literature.
One mum posted her reading a very naughty book with the title: "Penis Pokey".
Another posted a snap of her reading "Murderous Women" whilst a third posted a snap of her reading "Cannabis Compilation."
Lianne was pleased to bring a bit of fun to other parents.
The mum, of Margate, Kent, said: "It was just a light-hearted funny spur of the moment idea when I received an email from my kiddos' school.
"I never actually sent the pic in or though I was very tempted."
