Super fit Abi had always loved exercising and was keen to get back to it when she had her first daughter three years ago.

She had always been a slim size eight and was determined to stay healthy following the birth of her 8lb baby.

Just after the birth of her little girl the 26-year-old from Bristol noticed an embarrassing problem – that she sometimes leaked if she sneezed or coughed.

But Abi put it to the back of her mind and didn't let it worry her.

Following the birth of her second daughter two years later, in May 2018, Abi wanted to get back to full fitness.

Six months after the birth she signed up for personal trainer sessions with a pal.

But she was mortified when she wet herself during on the of sessions.

Despite wearing black the wet patch was clearly visible and Abi was horrified it had happened, especially in front of her male personal trainer.

Not wanting to make a fuss she carried on training but the problem persisted and started happened when she coughed, sneezed or did exercise.

Abi stopped training and got used to using pads to absorb the leaks.

She stopped wearing light clothes and stuck to dark ones only because they hid and leaks better.

And heartbreakingly, she blamed herself for what was happening.

The mum-of-two said: "I hadn’t done my pelvic floor exercises during pregnancy so I thought that was why it was happening and blamed myself.

"I used pads in my knickers to absorb it and assumed that I would just have to put up with it, but I was only 26 years old and hated the thought of being like that forever."

But then Abi heard about the BTL UltraFemme 360 procedure, which can help reduce stress incontinence without surgery.

She said: "I had a holiday booked and really wanted to get back into my exercise training."

She contacted Dr Shirin Lakhani at Elite Aesthetics in Kent and after an initial consultation he advised that she would be a suitable candidate.

The revolutionary vaginal tightening treatment available at Elite Aesthetics in Greenhithe, Kent, is a non-surgical alternative to traditional surgical vaginoplasty and labiaplasty.

Ultra Femme iworks by using radiofrequency waves to help stimulate the body’s natural collagen production and enhances blood flow to the area, helping to treat among other things incontinence.

In May this year Abi went for the treatment.

She said: "It wasn’t painful at all and involved a probe being inserted into my vagina.

"It felt warm inside me but wasn’t uncomfortable at all and after 8 minutes it was done!"

Afterwards, Abi felt instant results.

She said: "I felt tighter down there straight away,.

"And when I got home my little one had a cold and I was coughing and sneezing but I didn’t leak at all. It was incredible."

Since then Abi’s had two more treatments to complete the course, and now her embarrassing symptoms have completely gone.

Not only has this allowed her to get her body back to how she wanted, it’s given her the confidence to exercise again without the worry of the consequences.
