Mothercare closing down sale launches immediately and ‘everything must go’

Mothercare has announced an immediate "everything must go" closing down sale.

It comes after the store went into administration, with remaining stores across the UK closing with all stock reduced.

On their website, Mothercare has announced the closing down sale with a huge yellow sign.

It reads: "Closing down sale now on! Everything reduced. Everything must go."

In stores shoppers can pick up discounts of up to 60% on prams and toys, as well as childrenswear while stocks last.

Administrators PricewaterhouseCoopers have said customers can get their hands on a "huge range of discounts and bargains as all stock must go before stores are closed for the final time," reports the Mirror.

Customers can pick up a range of discounts in stores, and while the brand says stock levels are high, some of the popular items expected to sell out fast.

Mothercare say the website will remain live until further notice but say "it's unlikely they'll be receiving any more stock" online.

Customers can get deals as long as the website is running.

And while gift cards are no longer able to purchase, Mothercare branded gift cards can still be used in store.

"We’d also like to thank our customers for their historic support of the Mothercare brand."
