Judge Rinders life off screen from Susanna Reid friendship to impressive net worth

Judge Rinderhas become a famous face after his eponymous ITV show where he uses his legal knowledge in the courtroom.

The 44 year old, whose real name is Robert Rinder, rose to fame in 2014 after his show which has seen him become a fan favourite and dubbed as the “British Judge Judy”.

The star has appeared on a number of hit TV shows which include Room 101, Celebrity Who Wants to be a Millionaire,Strictly Come Dancingand Celebrity Catchphrase.

That’s not all and for the past few years Robert has been a regular onGood Morning Britainbefore becoming a presenter earlier this year. Outside of the courtroom and the television, the star has an equally exciting life with a special group of pals.

Judge Rinder has a close bond with his Good Morning Britain co-hostSusanna Reid.

The two have been friends for over six years and aside from their appearances on Celebrity Gogglebox, they revealed that they regularly go on holiday together.

Speaking toClosermagazine about their friendship, Judge Rinder said: "I love to go away with Susanna once a year. We have more plans to go away, but I won’t say where."

Susanna also spoke about their holidays toYou magazine, saying: "Oh, we let our hair down! That’s my four days in the year when I have no responsibilities."

It's no surprise then that from all his television appearances, the Judge has a huge estimated net worth of over £2.9 million, according toExpress.

Rob has a number of famous pals and is close friends with a huge Hollywood A-list actor who also officiated his wedding.

Sherlock and The Hobbit star Benedict Cumberbatch officiated Judge Rinder's marriage to Seth Cumming in 2013, but the couple later divorced in 2018.

The two met and became good friends while at the University of Manchester, with the judge even admitting that he gave up a career in acting after seeing how talented Benedict was.

He toldRadio Times: "I thought I’d done well, then I saw him deliver exactly the same lines and it was so different.

"He had a fizz, a chemistry and an understanding of the text that you just knew was what the writer wanted it to sound like."

In 2015, Judge Rinder was also one of three best men when Benedict Cumberbatch married his wife, Sophie Hunter.

In 2016, Judge Rinder showed us his talents outside of the courtroom when he participated in Strictly Come Dancing with professional dance partner Oksana Platero.

Talking about his decision to appear on Strictly, Judge Rinder told the BBC that wanted to participate as his grandparents were huge fans of the programme: "I’m a private secret dancer and I love to dance.

"The main reason is as my grandparents get older it’s a show they absolutely love.”

In March this year the star travelled to the Ukrainian border with the hope of rescuing Oksana Platero's grandparents from the war-torn country.

Rob said Oksana “gifted him so much” during their Strictly stint in 2017 and that he wanted to try and meet them and bring them to safety as she was stuck in America.

He did in factend up reuniting with her familyand shared the heartfelt moment to his Instagram.
