Janice Dickinson, who is the self-proclaimed “world’s first supermodel”, first found fame as a fresh-faced teen model back in the 1970s.
The star, 68, was an almost instant success story and graced the pages of huge fashion magazines including Vogue and Harper’s Bazaar and walked for major brands including Calvin Klein and Versace.
Janice even had a couple of acting stints on eighties shows including Matlock and The A Team, but proved to be better suited to the world of reality television.
The supermodel has appeared on shows including America’s Next Top Model and her original stint on I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! Back in 2007 was so memorable that she’s among the iconic stars returning for the All Star edition.
Janice looked positively glowing as she appeared on the first episode of the new series rocking a chic bright turquoise blouse and her signature long dark locks.
The supermodel’s appearance has famously changed significantly throughout the years and she’s been frank about undergoing cosmetic procedures in a bid to preserve her good looks.
In 2012, Janice underwent a facelift, but it didn’t exactly go according to plan and the star later confessed that it had left her disfigured and facing medical complications.
She was later forced to undergo more surgery to fix the problems, but it didn’t stem what she would later describe as an addiction to cosmetic procedures.
In 2015, she likened herself to an “alcoholic looking for their next drink” and confessed to having a breast augmentation, a tummy tuck, a neck lift, botox injections, collagen lip fillers and several more facelifts to boot.
The star turned to the experts on reality TV series Botched for help to fix various issues and got extremely personal when she shared that she had about a million dollars worth of unpaid cosmetic surgery bills.
However, the supermodel still wasn’t ready to give up her addiction as, despite sharing that her son Nathan had begged her not to have any more, she joked that she wouldn’t “if he’s looking!”
A year later, the star shared the devastating news that she was suffering from breast cancer and would be forced to have a double masectomy, after revealing that she thought the lump could be another boob job gone awry.
After wowing to “get through it”, the star did exactly that and is now cancer free – and ready to take on the jungle one more time, having teased an early bust up with another campmate!
