Floribama Shore's Candace Renee Rice welcomes a baby boy at 24 weeks pregnant & asks for prayers as he stays in NICU

FLORIBAMA Shore's Candace Renee Rice welcomed a baby boy as she was about 24 weeks pregnant and asked her fans for prayers as the infant remained in the newborn intensive care unit (NICU).

Candace, 28, shared a snapshot of her "Christmas baby" on Instagram.

Her son, Maxwell Michael Hardy, had "arrived" at two in the morning.

In the snap, Maxwell appeared to be lying down on a blanket while his head was wrapped in a white bandage.

The Floribama Shore star believed she would be able to "take him home in a few months."

She could not wait to hold her "little man" in her arms.

Candace captioned the post: "Please keep the development of baby Maxwell in your family prayers today as you gather with family and friends."

Recently, the reality star had shown off her baby belly on social media while posing topless with DJ Skar, also known as Denzel Hardy.

She had a huge smile on her face while DJ Skar had his hand around her womb.

In the caption, she revealed that she had gone into preterm labor.

She wrote: "Dr. Tosha Muse, in addition to all the wonderful doctors and nurses, have been doing all they can to keep baby Maxwell Michael Hardy inside the womb as long as possible.

The TV personality mentioned it was "way too early for him to enter."

She continued: "Now I’m officially on bed rest for the remainder of my pregnancy and will be in the hospital for the remainder of the year in isolation thanks to COVID."

The MTV star has been described as the "big sister of the group."

During the previous season, the TV star had been hard at work expanding her all-natural skincare brand, Yaaganix.

The season description stated: "From the Gulf Coast to the Montana wilderness, roommates Jeremiah, Codi, Aimee, Kirk, Nilsa, Candace, and Gus headed out on vacation to have a good time and stir up southern-fried shenanigans."

The latest season of the reality show had picked up "following an explosive summer in St. Pete Beach" in Florida, according to the showrunners.

Due to coronavirus-related changes, producers mentioned that the season had "limited access to the outside world at their remote location, the group is forced to face the wounds of last summer head-on."

The statement concluded: "During uncertain times, the crew needs each other more than ever, but like all families, there’s always something brewing under the surface and the bonds of friendship will be tested like never before."
