Dr. Amy Leigh Edelstein and Michael Lee Gross are to be married June 2 at Westbury Manor in Westbury, N.Y. Rabbi Sharon Ballan, the bride’s mother, is to officiate.
The bride, 30, is a physician specializing in geriatrics at Phelps Hospital/Northwell Health in Sleepy Hollow, N.Y. She graduated from the City College of New York and received a medical degree from New York Medical College.
She is the daughter of Rabbi Ballan of Glen Cove, N.Y., and Michael L. Edelstein of East Rockaway, N.Y. The bride’s father is a fulfillment supervisor for the Jewish National Fund in Rockville Centre, N.Y. Her mother is at Temple Beth Sholom in Flushing, Queens. The bride is the stepdaughter of Elizabeth D. Olyha-Edelstein and Walter J. Costanza.
The groom, 33, is the financial coordinator for the sexual assault and violence intervention program at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai in Manhattan. He graduated summa cum laude from the University at Albany, SUNY.
He is a son of Deborah S. Gross and Paul E. Gross of Flushing. His mother, who is retired, worked for the New York City Department of Education as a case worker in Flushing. His father is a human resources data analyst for the Mount Sinai Health System in Manhattan.
The couple met in 2016 through the dating app Coffee Meets Bagel.
