Former Strictly Come Dancing pro Janette Manrara has taken to Instagram to reveal her frustration at her former dance partner HRVY not texting her back. Looking serious, the star, 37, jokingly said that he was “out of her life” after he “promised” to text her back next time, following a dance he did as he apologised to the star.
He’s out of my life
In view of her 472,000 followers, Janette revealed that she had been reunited with her friends.
Walking down a corridor, the It Takes Two host showed that she was with her dance partner from last year’s series, singer HRVY.
Grinning at the camera, the star donned a matching baby pink two piece while carrying a bottle of water.
“Here’s one,” she said while showing off HRVY, before panning the camera round to reveal that they were joined by ITV’s Dr Ranj Singh, who she also danced with on Strictly.
“And here’s the other one!” he exclaimed, as Janette burst into laughter.
Cutting to the next story, the It Takes Two host looked serious as she asked the singer a question.
“HRVY?” she said, as he responded.
“What are you going to do next time I text you?” she quizzed the star.
“I’m going to reply,” said HRVY as he did a dance for Janette, who looked unimpressed.
“I promise,” HRVY added while blowing her a kiss.
Still annoyed, Janette added: “He’s out of my life”, while shaking her head sombrely.
Earlier this year the star spoke about how she had a “gut feeling” that last year’s Strictly would be her final time on the dancefloor.
Janette said: “Last year when I was dancing with HRVY, I’m a big believer in the universe and alignments and energies and things just happen at the right time for the right reason.
“There’s this one song that HRVY and I danced to, it was the last dance that I ever did on Strictly in the final and it was One Singular Sensation.”
The presenter went on: “Right before we danced it, I had this gut feeling like, ‘If this is my last one, I’m going to go out happy as heck.’
“It was perfect, he danced it perfectly, the song means so much to me, it looked epic.
“You couldn’t have asked for a better last dance,” she told Aimee Fuller’s podcast Monday Mile.
Last year saw Janette and HRVY finish as runners-up in the favourite BBC dance show.
The duo lost out to Oti Mabuse and her celebrity partner BIll Bailey, who won the coveted Glitterball trophy.
Strictly Come Dancing continues on Saturday at 6.45pm on BBC One.
