Stacey Solomon has been praised for an open and honest post about motherhood, revealing she has piles in a hilarious Instagram post.
The mother-of-three, who welcomed son Rex with Joe Swash in May, regularly updates fans on motherhood as she discusses the highs and lows of having a newborn.
The 29-year-old couldn’t have been more relatable to fellow mums in her latest post, as she revealed she had been battling piles as she took to social media to share a photo of Anusol cream.
The Loose Women star wrote alongside the image: "Who the F invented piles?!?"
She added: "THIS IS NOT AN AD JUST MY LIFE RIGHT NOW" alongside a crying-laughing emoji.
Piles, also known as haemorrhoids, are common after pregnancy and usually goes away after a few days.
The honest post comes just days after Stacey hit back at critics of her “blended” family, after sons Zachary and Leighton prepared to go on holidays with their respective fathers.
Stacey shared the post as she opened up on her family set up as Zachary prepares to go on holiday with his father Dean Cox, and Leighton with his father, Aaron Barnham.
The presenter hit back at critics who say her family is “broken” as she shared an emotional message alongside a photo of her two eldest sons hugging.
Stacey wrote: “They’re off on their holidays with their daddy’s tonight and they’ve been inseparable all day! They’re going to have the best time but they will miss each other lots. (And I will miss them a tiny bit too).
“For the last couple of days they’ve stopped arguing and bickering and have been really soppy and cuddly knowing that they’re about to go off on their adventures. For the first time they have an new dimension, leaving Rexy,” she wrote.
Stacey then added that she’s received a lot of negative comments about her family arrangements, as she spoke to mothers in similar circumstances.
“Recently I’ve experienced people having a lot to say about alternative family set ups. So I thought id just say this… No matter what negative, unhelpful things people may say or think, ignore it because they’re wrong.
“Don’t ever let it get you down. It doesn’t define you or your family. The boys’ brotherly bond is just as strong as any other regardless of our set up -and the decisions I’ve made have made us stronger as a family."
Stacey added: “I used to really beat myself up about not being able to offer them a ‘normal’, 'perfect' family all under one roof.
"Until I realised how normal, and perfect our family is for us. Seeing the way they are together reminds me that it’s all ok.
“Families come in all shapes and sizes and what’s important is that the love is there no matter where it comes from. We are not a 'broken family' in any way shape or form we are an extended family. And everyone loves an extension.”
Stacey previously revealed that she felt “guilt” over having two children with different fathers, hitting back at the stigma of being judged by others.
She told Huffington Post: “I always have an overwhelming sense of guilt that if I were to make my family greater, that I would impact on them socially and emotionally.
“There's definitely been times in my life where I've felt the stigma of having multiple children from different partners.”
Stacey’s brave post comes as other-half Joe enjoys a holiday with his son Harry from a previous relationship. Joe and Harry are already on their way home from their holiday together, with Joe sharing a snap of them in the airport.
Pulling sad faces about having to head home, Joe wrote: “Had the most amazing holiday with my amazing son! Gutted to be going home but excited at the same time.”
