Sara Evans’ Barker Family Band To Release Live Album

Country crooner Sara Evans and her Barker Family Band have revealed the details of their forthcoming album, dubbed Live From City Winery Nashville.

The live LP will include The Barker Family Band’s performance on the very last date of their “Bloodline Tour,” that Evans, alongside her 19-year-old son, Avery and 16-year-old daughter Olivia embarked upon this May.

The set list on the tour, which revolved around the EP that the family had collaboratively recorded and released in April of 2019, often included cover tunes such as Beyoncé‘s “XO,” Fleetwood Mac‘s “Dreams” and the Judds‘ “Why Not Me,” among others.

“It’s been kind of funny. I keep saying that Olivia and I are the Judds and we’re all like the Partridge Family. But there will not be any sort of continuing of the Barker Family Band. We named it that to just to be funny, like the Carters, like Beyoncé and Jay-Z,” Evans shared with Rolling Stone.

The 16-track album is slated for release on Friday, August 30.
